About the Founder

From the time I was a little girl helping my father with remodeling projects, I’ve always loved being able to look at a room and imagine it creatively as something more or different.  I have been married for more than 20 years and many of them were as a military wife moving households every eighteen months!  My beds are not always made, I often have dirty dishes in the sink and there is dog hair on my floors. But, I know that there is more to life than having a perfect house – having a house that works for you and your family is what really matters.

I have come to a place in my life that I find myself passionate about helping others have inviting, comfortable and functional homes.  Not fussy spaces with expensive window treatments and useless accessories collecting dust, but real homes that accommodate real life – with toys, bills and a constant stream of laundry.  To make those challenges of daily life work well, your house must work too.

My passion is to help women stop struggling with never-ending interior decorating projects and help them start enjoying their homes.
